Beer House Cape Town

Beer House Cape Town is one of those special bars on Long Street, and they are dedicated to beer. Boasting Africa’s largest beer variety under one roof, with roughly 20 beers on tap and 99 types of bottled beer. They have craft and ‘normal’ beer from all over the world and South Africa.

Tips: Friday and Saturday nights are the time to go if you want a party. If you want to take a seat, Beer House take bookings for tables except for after 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays, BUT if you go for the full keg option on the keg table you can secure your spot after 5pm on a Friday or Saturday. There is also an outside balcony which is normally very social with smokers heading outside for a puff or two.

Keep an eye out for special events like monthly “meet the brewer” events which include beer and food pairing, quiz nights, beer school and free beer Friday where you can score a free beer. See their Facebook + Twitter Pages for all of those details.
